The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
